Vivian Miller

Vivian Brovold Miller, age 80, of rural McIntosh, MN, passed away on Wednesday (October 2nd) at McIntosh Senior Living in McIntosh. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (October 5th) at Vernes Lutheran Church, rural McIntosh with the Rev. Gordon Syverson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home, serving McIntosh. She grew up near Trail, attended the Lindsay country school and McIntosh High School.Vivian originally lived in McIntosh and Thief River Falls and lived with husband William Miller in Pendleton, Indiana prior to entering McIntosh Senior Living.She was an avid doll collector and avid sewing and crafting enthusiast and gardener.Vivian passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at McIntosh Senior Living at the age of 80 years and three months.Survivors include her son, Barry (Marlys) Brovold of St. Paul, MN; grandson, Brandon Brovold (Maria Rotondo) of Wayzata, MN; granddaughter, Kirsten Brovold of St. Paul, MN; great granddaughter, Meredith Rotondo of Wayzata, MN; sister, Myrna (Richard) Olsen of Thief River Falls, MN; brother, Robert (Shirley) Jensen of Andover, MN; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Brovold and William Miller; an infant son; her parents; and three brothers, Elwood Jensen, Roy Jensen, and Willys Jensen.Pallbearers: Brandon Brovold, Kirsten Brovold, Robert Jensen, Ross Olsen, Richard Olsen, and Sidney Finseth.
