Victoria Sannes

Victoria "Tori" Sannes, age 21, of Erskine and Mentor, MN, passed away Saturday (August 27th) from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Fertile, MN. Tori is the daughter of Jon and Lisa Sannes of Erskine and Mike and Chanda Anderson of Livingston, MT. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (September 3rd) at Grace Lutheran Church in Erskine with the Rev. Michael Sletto officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Friday (September 2nd) and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday, all at Grace Lutheran Church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Erskine and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Victoria Sophia Sannes was born on January 3, 1990 in Crookston, Minnesota to parents Michael Ray Anderson and Lisa Violet Gustafson. She lived in Long Prairie, Minnesota until age 12 when she returned with her family to Erskine, Minnesota. She attended Win-E-Mac schools, graduating in 2008. After her graduation from high school, Tori attended St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota for one year. She then returned to the area and worked at Digi-Key in Thief River Falls, Minnesota in the International Sales Department. Tori was currently living in Mentor, Minnesota and had plans to return to St. Cloud State to pursue a career in nursing. Tori greatly enjoyed golf and was a valuable employee for four summers at Oak Lake Golf Club in Erskine. She was also was named "Most Valuable Player" on the Win-E-Mac golf team every year throughout her high school years. Tori also enjoyed following the NFL and going to rodeos. Most of all though, she enjoyed the time she that spent with her friends and family. Survivors include her parents, Jon and Lisa Sannes of Erskine and Mike and Chanda Anderson of Livingston, MT; six siblings, Tyler Sannes of Grand Forks, ND, Paige Sannes of Fargo, ND, Ian Sannes of Fargo, ND, Evan Anderson of Livingston, MT, Carver Sannes of Erskine, and Joshua Hegre of Erskine; grandparents, Duane Monson of Mentor, Russ and Doris Severson of Crookston, MN and Keith and Joanne Sannes of Erskine; aunts and uncles, Al and Jan Gustafson of Fosston, Wayne and Terry Gustafson of Crookston, Vern and Lisa Gustafson of Mentor, Harvey Hagl, Jr. of Red Lake Falls, MN, Jodi Amiot of Crookston, Sondi and Tom Blee of Red Wing, MN, and Jackie and Dustin Lamppa of Moorhead, MN; step aunt and uncle, Jill and Grant Bensen of Elk River, MN, Matt and Heidi Sannes of Waconia, MN, and Mark and Annette Sannes of Corpus Christi, TX. Cousins and other relatives also survive.She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Violet Lecy; grandfather, Bob Anderson; great grandmother, Sophie Olena Larson (whom Tori was named after); and other great grandparents.Honorary Pallbearers will be the Win-E-Mac High School Class of 2008.Pallbearers will be Joseph Gustafson, Dustin Lamppa, Nick Blee, Chandler Burns, Jarin Bjerke, and Josh Farrell.
