Victoria Paulson, age 61, of McIntosh, MN passed away on Sunday, July 3rd at McIntosh Senior Living. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday (July 15th) at Grace Lutheran Church in Erskine with the Rev. Timothy Lundeen officiating. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home serving McIntosh.Victoria Mae Paulson was born in Spokane, WA on December 10, 1949 to proud parents Leota (Melinda) and William Bethke. They resided in Missoula, MT where Vicki started and finished school as well as college. She then went on to work at the courthouse in Helena, MT. In December of 1974 she gave birth to her first daughter, Dawnyel. She was married in August of 1978, and in May of 1979 her second daughter, Coriann was born. This is where her life changed as she became a homemaker as well as a waitress and stay-at-home mom as often as possible. She was extremely hard working as well as driven with the passion of life.In 1989 Vicki and her two girls were in a head-on motor vehicle accident that left them with more life changing events to come. Vicki was hospitalized and endured thirteen surgeries throughout the year, as well as both girls who suffered substantial injuries.In September of 1990 they moved to Fosston, MN. They lived south of Fosston for eight years. During these eight years Vicki and her family started a dairy farm, then a logging business, and from there Vicki waitressed at Manecke's restaurant for a period of time. In her spare time Vicki enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, fishing, and horseback riding. Vicki had a strong love for animals as well as her children.In 2001 Vicki became ill and found herself fighting for her life. Her youngest daughter Coriann and her family became a big part of her everyday life and took pleasure in assisting Vicki throughout the years until her passing day. On July 3, 2011 Vicki passed away at McIntosh Senior Living in McIntosh, MN at the age of 61 years.Vicki always said that she was blessed, and when her youngest daughter blessed her with three beautiful grandchildren she said, "I know God works in mysterious ways but I have been blessed with the most beautiful angels only God could imagine!". Vicki was extremely proud of being "The Grandma" and she was so proud to show it. There was never a day in her life that Vicki ever let slip by without letting everyone she loved and appreciated know it! In loving memory of Vicki Paulson, she is survived by her parents Leota Joyce and William Bethke of Clinton, MT; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; her daughters Dawnyel (Scott) Scheff of Mahnomen, MN and Coriann (Kelly) Lindseth of McIntosh, Mn; and last but not least her angels Tyler Lindseth, Cassandra Lindseth, and Miley Lindseth of McIntosh, MN.A tribute to Vicki from your loving daughter Coriann: I am so amazed by you for all the love, courage, dignity, and strength that you have shown throughout all of the struggles that life brought our way. You have made me what I am today! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I love you! We will love and miss you until the day we meet again.
