Terri Bergerson

Terri Bergerson, age 56, of Bagley, MN, and formerly of Fosston, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 11th, at her home in Bagley. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19th, at United Lutheran Cemetery near Berner, MN with Dawn Hanson officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the cemetery. All are welcome to attend with Covid-19 precautions observed. Please bring your own chair. The service will be recorded and available for viewing on Sunday.Terri Lynn Edevold Bergerson was born on January 14, 1964 in Fosston, Minnesota to parents Wallace and Evangeline (Zilmer) Edevold. She grew up near Berner and Gonvick and graduated from Gonvick High School in 1982.She married Alan Bergerson and together they had five children and eight grandchildren. They lived near Pine Lake until, in 1999, she moved to Fosston.Terri attended Northland Technical College in Thief River Falls, earning her nursing degree. She completed her education to become a Registered Nurse, working at several local hospitals, including Fosston, Bemidji, and Thief River Falls. She spent 10 years as Director of Nursing at Mahnomen Health Center and was currently RN Clinical Supervisor at the hospital in Bagley.Terri loved her family. Spending time with them was her most precious time. Being a mother and grandmother was what Terri was meant to be and she was good at it. She was also a very giving and kind person. Terri was always the first to help someone in need even if it meant going without herself. Her beautiful smile and personality always was a joy to others whether at work, with family, friends or at home. She will be missed by many.Survivors include her five children, Christina (Jason) Leonard of Fargo, ND, Todd Bergerson of Fosston, Cassondra Bergerson of Thief River Falls, MN, Brandon (Cheri) Bergerson of Bagley, and Dylan Bergerson (Veronica McBride) of Thief River Falls, MN; her mother, Evangeline (Richard "Shorty") Rhodes of Fosston; 8 grandchildren, Brinley Leonard, Shayna Bergerson, Caden, Colby and Carter Bergerson and Jozlyn Wasley, and Nevaeh and Skylee Bergerson; one sister, Lori (Ray) Sundbom of Clearbrook, MN; and one brother, Gary (Kirsten) Edevold of Park Rapids, MN; brother-in-law, Tim Mehl of Fargo, ND. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Edevold; and sister, Tami Mehl.
