Stephen Byer

Stephen Byer, age 58 from Fosston and formerly from Bemidji, MN passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2012, at Essentia Health Hospital in Fosston, Minn., after battling a long illness. He was a longtime resident at Midway Care Center/Conerstone Living Center in Fosston. No services are planned at this time.Stephen Ray Byer was born December 3, 1953 in Bemidji, MN to the late Jean McMurray and John Byer of Bemidji.He is survived by his daughters Amie Jean and Stephanie Byer of Pensacola, Fla., his father John Byer of Bemidji, MN, brothers Mike Byer and Ricky Byer of Bemidji, James and Chris Pose of Minneapolis, MN, sisters Patty Jo Vallance of North Carolina, Tammy Sanders of Lillian, AL, Wendy Callender of Baton Rouge, LA, Roxanne Byer of Bemidji, Rhonda Byer of Kentucky, Renee Byer of Minneapolis, many aunts and uncles and a special aunt, Patty Johnson.He is preceded in death by his mother Jean McMurray and grandparents Jack and Bertha Armitage.He will be sadly missed by all.
