Sharon Munter, age 81, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Wednesday, November 18th, at Essentia Health Living Center in Fosston. Due to the pandemic no services will be held. Family will gather to commemorate her life this spring. She met the love of her life, Duane Munter, in high school and they were married on November 12, 1960. Duane and Sharon celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary six days before she went home to meet her Savior on November 18, 2020.Her faith and her family were the two most important aspects of her life. Sharon found immense joy in teaching her family about the Lord she loved and showing His love to others. She loved to pray for her family and her friends. And even though she couldn't carry a tune, making music and worshipping with her grandkids was one of her favorite ways to spend her time.She always showed her love for those around her through her passions in life. She will always be remembered for her beautiful gardens and flower arrangements, her gorgeous Rosemåling, and the wonderful food she cooked for her people. Sharon prayed for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren every day. She will be greatly missed by family and those left behind, but she is whole, healthy, and celebrating a full life with her Lord and Savior.Sharon is survived and missed by her husband Duane, children Michelle (Bruce) Johnson and Kris (Patty) Munter of Fosston, MN, and grandchildren Nicole (Jake) Yokom of Eagan, MN, Aaron (Sophia) Johnson of Lakeland, MN, Aanders (Nicole) Johnson of Apple Valley, MN, Kelly (Kyle) Entzel of Grand Forks, ND, Josh (Kaitrin) Munter of Moose Lake, MN, and Emma (Levi) Preston of Grand Forks, ND and 11 great-grandchildren. Sharon leaves behind a legacy that can never be forgotten.
