Scott Petersen, age 43, of Erskine, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday (October 5th) at his home in Erskine. There will be no services at this time. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Erskine and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Scott Edward Petersen was born on October 8, 1968 in South Gate, California to parents Frank and Linda (Ruff) Peterson. Scott served in the United States Navy and was trained as a diver. He was also a body builder for many years.Survivors include his sister, Dianne (Steve) Cormican of Fosston; nephew, Tim Petersen of St. Cloud, MN; niece, Elizabeth Lacy and her fiancé Brandon Bendickson of Bejou, MN; grand nieces and nephew, Jade and Paige Bendickson and Ivory Patterson and Ian McRunnel; and step-mother, Ann Elliott Petersen.He was preceded in death by his mother on December 31, 2010.
