Ross Klinke, age 57, of Fosston, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday (December 1st) at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday (December 6th) at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston with the Rev. Paul Magelssen officiating. Interment will be in Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Fosston. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Ross Edward Klinke was born on August 30, 1954 in Fosston, Minnesota to parents Allan "Bud" and Margaret (Nelson) Klinke. He attended Fosston High School. He moved to Fairbanks, Alaska and, in 1961, moved to Audubon, Washington. He returned to Fosston in 1964 and lived with his brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Janet. In 1971 he moved to Wrangle, Alaska and worked in lumber mills for a year before returning to Fosston in 1972.Ross was united in marriage to Anita Aspen on September 10, 1972. Together they had two children, Joel and Julie. Ross had worked various jobs including Hemmingsen Masonry of Fosston. Anita passed away on September 15, 2006. After Anita's passing, Ross continued to live at home in Fosston.Ross passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at his home in Fosston at the age of 57 years.Survivors include his two children, Joel and his wife, Kelly; and daughter, Julie; six grandchildren, Brady Beito, Jeffrey, Riley, and McKenna Klinke, and Cody and Conner Drewry; six siblings, Ronald (Janet), Richard (Delores), Lorna Snailum, Renee (Bobby) Davidson, Cheryl (Rick) Boutain, and Dawn (Donavan) Olson. Nieces nephews and cousins also survive.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Anita; brothers, Donald and Loren; two nephews, Lance Klinke and Josh LaFontaine; and four nieces, Twyla Brown, Kathy Olson, Misty Rose Sherer, and Christi Boutain.Honorary Pallbearers: Jere Sherer, David Aspen, Rick Boutain, Leslie Klinke, Loren Klinke, Travis Moody, and James Drewry.Active Pallbearers: Jason LaFontaine, Tom Holland, James Nelson, Loren Simonson, Jeff Hopke, and Mike Gensburg.
