Rosalie Weiby

Rosalie Weiby, age 80, of Erskine, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 1st, at her home. Services will be announced and held at a later date. Rosalie Marie (Rogers) Weiby was born in Hillsdale, Michigan to Ned and Isabelle (McKibben) Rogers on February 13, 1940. After high school she moved to Norfolk, Virginia, where she worked as a secretary for the U.S. Navy and met her future husband, Clifton Weiby of Erskine, Minnesota. Rosalie and Clifton were married May 20, 1961.Upon returning to the Erskine area, Rosalie worked as a daycare provider, and receptionist at a car lot. But her love was nursing. She worked as a CNA and LPN at Johnson's Rest Home, Pioneer Memorial Care Center, and McIntosh Manor. She passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at her home in Erskine at the age of 80 years.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton; her son, Ethan; and two brothers, Tom and Terry Rogers.

Rosalie is survived by her children and grandchildren, Joyce Raaen of Minneapolis, MN, Sheelah and Charles; Gemma (Kevin) Winger of West Dundee, IL, Kenneth and Katherine, Amy (Eric) Winfield, Erin and Sarah; Erica Olsen of Moorhead, MN; Derek (Rocksann) Weiby of Fosston, Christopher, Sarah, and Leo; Tiffany Brua Weiby of Carpentersville, IL, Joshua and Josephine; Sarah (George) Scanlan of Carpentersville, IL, Joshua, Tori, Scott and Bryk; Elizabeth (Stacey) Snobeck of Erskine, Zach Gummeringer; and several great grandchildren.
