Richard Aaker, age 75 from Fosston, MN passed away on Wednesday, August 15th at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 23rd at 2:00 PM at Calvary Free Lutheran Church in Fosston with Pastor Alan Arneson officiating. The Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston assisted the family with arrangements.Richard "Dick" Duane Aaker was born on July 20, 1937 in Northwood, North Dakota to parents Herman and Esther (Indergard) Aaker.Richard was a member of Laborers International Union of North Dakota and he enjoyed the flea market circuit.On Wednesday, August 15, 2012 Richard passed away at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND at the age of 75 years.He is survived by one son, Ryan of Crookston, MN; one sister, Elizabeth (Jerry) Pederson of Kandiyohi, MN; one brother, David (Ardis) Aaker of Willmar, MN; and several nephews and nieces.His was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Esther; and one brother, Herbert.
