Randy Larson, age 59, from Fosston, MN passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 19th at his residence in Fosston. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lengby, MN with Rev. Gene Lilienthal officiating. Interment of cremains will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Messages of condolence may be sent to carlinhoialmen.com.Randall Mark Larson was born to Rudolph "Rudy" and Alice Yvonne (Hagen) Larson on September 15, 1956 in Fosston, MN, where he grew up. In 1974, he graduated from Fosston High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served four years. He married Sandra Anderson and to them two children were born, Jeremy and Amanda. They resided in Fosston. While living in Fosston, Randy and his good friend, Jim Offerdahl, were business partners for several years. Later in life, Randy and his brother, Mike, owned Suburban Contracting Services in Prior Lake, Minnesota. While living in Farmington, he was a caregiver for several individuals that were in need of medical and emotional support. Randy moved back to Fosston several years ago and has been a caregiver and companion for his parents and his Auntie Helen.Randy was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved people, had a huge heart, was always willing to help others and had many friends throughout the years. We will always remember Randy for all of his witty sayings, "If you can't be good, don't get caught".On Thursday, May 19, 2016 Randy passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Fosston at the age of 59 years.He is survived by his father, Rudy Larson of Fosston; his children, Jeremy (Jennifer) of Colorado, Amanda (Everett) of Georgia, Chad Brekke (Autumn) of Lonsdale, and Joshua Brekke (Dawn) of Farmington; brother, Mike (Jeannie) of Elko, sister, Lorri Ann (Dean) Hartel of Red Lake Falls, and brother, Scott (Patty) of Lakeville; grandchildren, Krissy, Bjorn, Zoey, Nicholas, Zelon, Chandler, Braylan, Xander, Lake, Matt, Dannie, Chris, and Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his soul mate, Cheryl Brekke; his mother, Yvonne Larson; and his grandparents.Randy will be deeply missed, but never forgotten, by all those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him throughout the walk of life.Blessed be his memory
