Paul Kalinoski

Paul Kalinoski, age 43, of Fosston, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 18th, at Essentia Health Hospital in Fosston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24th, at Bethel Assembly Church in Fosston with Pastor Seth Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Froen Cemetery, rural Fosston. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Friday, October 23rd, and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday morning. All visitation will be held at Bethel Assembly Church in Fosston. Covid-19 protocol will be observed and mask use is suggested. Paul Gary Kalinoski was born on January 30th, 1977 to Karen Dyrdahl and Gary Kalinoski at Riverview Hospital in Crookston, Minnesota. Paul graduated from Fosston High School in 1995. He was a phenomenal swimmer and spent 7 years on the boys swim team. Paul had an extraordinary love for music and could sing, play guitar, drums & keyboard to name a few. He enjoyed playing in multiple bands over his lifetime. Paul had a great love for animals and tended chickens, geese, turkeys, ducks, goats, cats and dogs on his hobby farm.On July 25th, 2009, Paul married Erika Mayer. They made their home in Fosston, where they raised their boys. He started his own business, Reboot, where he fixed computers for 10 years. Paul passed away unexpectedly on October 18th, 2020. He is survived by his sons, Logan, Avery, Karson & step-son Dade. Parents, Don & Karen Dyrdahl of Fosston; Gary Kalinoski of Grand Forks; Siblings, Andy Kalinoski of Fosston; Nicole (Travis) Burley of Fosston; Amber (Duane) Piekarski of Lorton, VA; Julie (Zach) Boehrnsen of Moorhead; and many other aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents John & Marie Sikorski, Leo & Marcy Kalinoski, Russell & Delores Dyrdahl; his uncle Pat Hanson & nephew Cameron Burley.Pallbearers: Eric Berg, Jeffrey Johnson, Matt LaVoi, Mike Heide, Kent Sikorski, and Derek Rud.Honorary Pallbearers: Paul's family, friends & classmates.
