Opal B. Larson, age 92, of Erskine, MN, passed away on Saturday (July 23rd) at the Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday (July 28th) at Faaberg Lutheran Church in Rindal, MN with the Rev. Anne Tairan officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Erskine and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Opal Blanche Bjerke was born on July 31, 1918 in Garden Township, rural Winger, Minnesota to parents Gilbert and Gertie (Rustad) Bjerke. She was baptized at home and confirmed at Faaberg Lutheran Church in Rindal, Minnesota. She attended Hazel Hill country school until the eighth grade. She was a dedicated employee at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine for over 25 years.She was united in marriage to Martin Lesetmoe in July of 1939 and was happily married until Martin's passing on June 14, 1971. She married Victor Larson at Faaberg Lutheran Church on September 28, 1978. Survivors include her sons, Gene (Mel) Lesetmoe and Maynard (Karen) Lesetmoe; one daughter, Margaret Lesetmoe; stepsons, Roger (Kim), Lloyd (Kim), David, Richard (Donna), and Michael; step daughter, Donna (Joel); brother, Oscar; four grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; and three sisters.Pallbearers will be Richard Larson, Roger Larson, Todd Lesetmoe, Juan Lopez, Joel Seela, and Glenn Seela.
