Mildred Anderson

Mildred Anderson, age 80, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Saturday (May 8th) at First Care Hospital in Fosston. Private family services will be held. Arrangements were with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston.Mildred Leona Volkers was born on November 20, 1929 in Dickey County, North Dakota to parents Hinnie and Frankeline (Elsen) Volkers. She attended Zion Lutheran Church north of Fosston. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending time with her family and grandchildren, especially her grandson, Wesley Anderson. Mildred passed away on Saturday evening, May 8, 2010 at First Care Hospital in Fosston at the age of 80 years.Survivors include four sons, Ricky (Jen), Wayne (Diane), Butch, and Steve (Laura); two daughters, Sharon and Sylvia; several grandchildren; two brothers, Carl and Herman; three sisters, Helen, Fran, and Ann. Nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna; and her parents.
