Mary Jane (Vesledahl) Gall, age 69, of McIntosh, MN, passed away on Thursday, August 18th, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18th, at the McIntosh Community Center with the Rev. Timothy Lundeen officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Lutheran Cemetery, Winger, MN. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Sunday (September 18th) at the community center. Mary Jane Vesledahl was born on July 16, 1953, in Mahnomen, Minnesota to parents Einar and Louella (Martin) Vesledahl. She grew up in Winger, Minnesota where she attended the elementary school. She then attended McIntosh-Winger High School, graduating in 1971. In 1973, she married Lynn Nornes. During that time she worked at a grocery store in McIntosh.
In 1976, she moved to California. While there she worked in various jobs while living in places like Hermosa and Redondo Beach. It was in California that she met and married Craig Gall. Together they had a daughter, Heidi. In 1990, they were divorced and she moved back to McIntosh. Most recently she had worked at Walmart in Crookston until the travel and health forced her to retire.
Mary Jane enjoyed helping others and was always making a meal to give to someone. She also did sewing and making items for people. She was known for her kindness. She also was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Louella, and her father, Einar; brother-in-law, Keith Bugge; and nephew, Lance Bugge.
She is survived by her daughter, Heidi (Reyes) Cerros of Hawthorne, CA; three granddaughters, Harlow, Ella, and Lila; two sisters, Leona Bugge of Thief River Falls, MN, and Carol (Jim) Chaput of Brooks, MN; and one brother, Tom (Laurie) Vesledahl of Moorhead, MN; six nieces and nephews, Lisa and Aaron (Missy) Chaput, Brian (Julie) Bugge, Jessica (Darwin) Klemetson, Aubrey (Dan) Bergerson, and Ryan Vesledahl.
