Mary Ann Juve

Mary Ann Juve, age 81, of Erskine and Fosston, MN, passed away on Wednesday, October 9th, at Fair Meadow Nursing Home in Fertile, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14th, at Bethel Assembly Church in Fosston with Pastor Seth Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Queen Cemetery, rural Fosston, at a later date. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Monday morning at the church. Mary Ann Folden was born on March 9, 1943, in Fargo, North Dakota to parents Haaken and Alice (Clary) Folden. She grew up in Moorhead, Minnesota and Hitterdal, Minnesota. At the age of 16, she moved to Fargo and began work at the Fargoan Hotel and, later, American Crystal Sugar in Moorhead. She married Leland Juve in 1974. They lived in Fargo and she worked cleaning cars at their car dealership. Leland passed away in 1996.

Mary Ann was married to Ronald Juve on June 16, 2006. Mary Ann and Ron lived in Clearbrook, Fosston, and Erskine. She had currently been residing in Fair Meadow Nursing Home in Fertile. 

Mary Ann was a hard worker and was a funny, kind, and generous person. She enjoyed camping and animals. 

Mary Ann passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Fair Meadow Nursing Home in Fertile at the age of 81 years.

Survivors include her husband, Ron, of Erskine; her step-children, Kevin (Lesia) of Erskine, Mark (Tracy) of Clearbrook, MN, Jason (Shelly) of Erskine, Kyle (Tessa) of New Ulm, MN, and Rhonda (Ben) Matson of Grand Forks, ND; 13 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.

Also surviving are eight siblings, Sigrud (Anita) Folden of Fargo, ND, Margaret Sullivan of Fargo, ND, Larry (Peggy) Folden of Cushing, OK, Marilyn (Dave) Walstrom of Moorhead, MN, Richard Folden of Moorhead, MN, Jimmy Folden of Moorhead, MN, Dave Folden of Moorhead, MN., and Janis (Darwin) Paler of Fergus Falls, MN. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Leland; step-son, Loren Juve; siblings, Grace Thompson, Joyce Folden, and Betty Monson; brother-in-law, Robert Sullivan; step daughter-in-law, Marilyn Juve; and nephew, Michael Horn.
