Throughout school he worked for his parents at Earl Munter and Sons. He graduated from Fosston High School in 1976. After school he joined the US Army and in 1978 he received a medical discharge and returned to his family. On August 14, 1976 he was united in marriage to Jenny Lynne Roragen. They had four daughters and spent as much time together as possible, as a family. They moved to Sioux City, Iowa where he worked for IBP for many years until the company went on strike. At that time they moved back to Fosston and he worked for his brother-in-law farming. Mark wanted to provide more for his family so he went to college. Mark received a college degree from NTC in Detroit Lakes and began working at the Grand Forks Air Force Base as the lead HVAC Technician. He really enjoyed his time there and the work he did. Mark was a remarkable son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He loved working on classic cars with his girls. He enjoyed camping, fishing, bow and rifle hunting, and being outside in the sunshine with his family. Most of all he loved spending time with Jenny and all the kids.
