Marge Reierson

Marge Reierson, age 90, of Fosston, MN passed away on Tuesday, July 2nd at Essentia Health Living Center in Fosston. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8th at 11:00 AM at Kingo Lutheran Church in Fosston with Rev. John Dalen officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral at 11:00 AM at the church on Monday. Interment will be at Kingo Lutheran Cemetery in Fosston, and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the arrangements. Stewart was born in Oslo, MN on March 31, 1923 to parents George and Marin (Anderson) Stewart and was baptized and confirmed in the Presbyterian Church. Marge graduated from Oslo High School in 1941. Following graduation she attended Aakers Business College in Grand Forks, ND. During WWII, she relocated to Seattle, WA and worked at Carnation as a Bookkeeper. She returned to the Twin Cities and worked for several years at Booth Fisheries in the Accounting Department. While residing in the Twin Cities she met Don Reierson who finally persuaded her to marry him on October 28, 1950 in Argyle, MN. From this 62 year marriage they had 3 children - Tom, Scott and JoDee. They made their home in Fosston, MN where Don was involved in farming and Marge helped on the farm and was employed for 10 years by the Sather Clinic as Office Manager. On March 31st Marge celebrated her 90th birthday with family and friends.Marge loved the Lord, her faith, family and friends, Kingo Church (where she participated in many church activities and was a member for 58 years). She enjoyed reading, games, quilting, jigsaw and her daily crossword puzzles. Winter travelling with friends was a large part of Don and Marge's life. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy.On Tuesday, July 2, 2013 Marge passed away at Essentia Health Living Center in Fosston at the age of 90 years.She is survived by husband Don of Fosston, son Scott and his wife Judee Reierson (whom she considered as another daughter) of Colorado Springs, daughter Jo Ryther of Hopkins, granddaughters Brittney, Stephanie and Angie, grandson Chad, great-grandchildren Brandon, Lane, Michael, Parker, Isabel, Seth, Jadin and Cody, sisters Nan Anderson of Argyle, MN and Lucille and husband Bob Beaudry of Argyle, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Howard and Betty LePier of Fosston, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Tom Reierson, her brothers Burke and Chuck Stewart, and brother-in-law Charles Anderson.
