Lucille Mullien

Lucille Mullien, age 80 from Fosston, MN passed away on Saturday, November 5th at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 10:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Erskine, MN with Rev. Timothy Lundeen officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour before the funeral at the church on Saturday morning. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, rural Erskine. Messages of condolence may be sent to carlinhoialmen.com. Lucille June Ives was born on January 8, 1936 to Milton Edmond and Julia (Couture) Ives. She grew up in Willimantic, CT with her four brothers and one sister. In 1958 Lucille married Robert Mullien. Together they raised their five children, Diana, Robert, Patricia, Lynn and April. Lucille enjoyed drawing and was offered a full scholarship from a local college. At the time, Lucille opted to stay home full time to raise her children. In 1992 Lucille moved to Fosston, MN to be near her daughters Lynn and April. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and neighbors in Fosston. She especially enjoyed her morning coffee visits and evening dinners chatting with her best friend Joy Lene. Lucille had a passion for politics and enjoyed learning about the paranormal. Last year, Lucille had the opportunity to meet the Ghost Hunters in person. Lucille also loved to crochet and was extremely skilled at the craft. She handmade blankets for many members of her family and also crochet blankets for some of her unborn great grandchildren. Lucille loved her family very much. In her last moments Lucille asked that all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were told how much she loved them and how much she enjoyed the time she spent with them. On Saturday, November 5, 2016 Lucille passed away at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND at the age of 80 years. Lucille is survived by her brother Milton Ives, her adopted brother Arthur Sounie, her children and their spouses Diana Ohmae, Paul Ohmae, Robert Mullien III, Patricia Kajikawa, Mike Kajikawa, Lynn Engebretsen, Mike Engebretsen, April Mullien, Paul Weady Sr., her grandchildren Naomi OConnor, Sonia Ohmae, Alicia Dudesek, Robert Mullien IV, Craig Mullien, Aya Kajikawa, Hailley Engebretsen, Paul Weady Jr., Hannah Weady, Abbey Weady, and her great grandchildren Adalyn Dudesek and Ava OConnor. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Mullien, her half sister Joanne Bressett, her half brothers Joey and Cleo Bressett, her grandchild Andy Mullien, and her daughter Diana Mullien.
