Lisa Miller

Lisa Miller, age 53, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 at her home in Fosston. Memorial services were held at New Journey Church in Fosston in February 2020. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 25th, at Kingo Lutheran Cemetery in Fosston with Pastor Tyler Stynsberg officiating. Lisa Lynn Miller was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on July 25, 1966 to parents Roger and Linda (Lessner) Nelson. After a few years, she moved to St. Paul with family. She attended school in St. Paul. Lisa had many jobs growing up such as Taco John’s, Subway, and her mom’s business, The Plaster Castle by the Maplewood Mall. There she worked with Linda, working with arts, crafts and ceramics. Lisa gave birth to two sons, Mark and Dustin. She married Arthur Morris Miller, Jr. on July 21, 1990 at Kingo Lutheran Church in Fosston.

Lisa especially loved her jewelry. Other things she enjoyed are arts and crafts, coloring and watching new movies. Most of all she loved spending time with family.

Lisa passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the age of 53 years.

She is survived by her two sons, Mark (Katie) McGee of Coon Rapids, MN, and Dustin (Jessica) Miller of Fosston; one brother, Rick (Minoka) of St. Paul, MN; three grandchildren, Hendrick, Blain, and Atreyu; best friend and Godmother to Dustin, Donna Sikich; her father, Roger; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, on December 8, 2014; her mother, Linda; and great aunt, Una.
