Linda Bingham, age 46, of Fosston, MN passed away on Thursday, November 26th at First Care Hospital in Fosston. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 1st at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fosston with Father Dave Super presiding. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Fosston, and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the arrangements.Linda Marie Bingham was born on November 19, 1963 in Fosston, Minnesota to parents William "Bill" and Bergetta "Betty" (Salvhus) Bingham. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fosston, and graduated from Fosston High School in 1982.Linda married Steve Fjerstad in 1981. They lived in Fosston and in Texas. Linda worked on Gruman's Farm in Barnes County, North Dakota for a number of years. She also was owner and operator of Dazey Basics, a convenience store and restaurant in Dazey, North Dakota. Due to ill health Linda returned to Fosston in 2007.She loved taking care of her children, horses, and the outdoors. She made and sold doughnuts, and loved to read. Her dream was to write a romance novel and she was halfway through writing her first book. Linda was a very good writer.On Thursday, November 26, 2009 Linda passed away at First Care Hospital in Fosston at the age of 46 years and 7 days.Survivors include three children, Kelsey, Taylor and Trevor Bingham all of Fosston; her parents, Bill and Betty Bingham of Fosston; three sisters, Debbie Lofstrand of Lengby, MN, Pam (Mark) Kreidelcamp of Rogers, ND and Kristi (Brady) Maruska of Bagley, MN; two brothers, Mark (Nina) Bingham of Fosston and Scott Bingham of Cooperstown, ND; as well as many other relatives.She was preceded in death by an infant son, Benjamin Roy Fjerstad; and her grandparents.
