Kendall "Red" Mosser, age 96, from McIntosh, MN passed away on Friday, July 24th at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 28th at 11:00 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in McIntosh with Rev. Aage Carlsen officiating. A time of visitation will be held for one hour before the memorial service at the church. Interment will be at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lancaster, MN at a later date, and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home serving McIntosh is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church of McIntosh.Kendall Mosser was born on December 31, 1912 in Worthington, MN to Ober and Hilda Atwood. Mrs. Atwood died when Ken was 2 years old and he was then adopted out to William and Emma Mosser.He graduated from Madelia High School in Madelia, MN in 1932 and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Ken worked for Ottertail Power Company for most of his life.He met Edith Swenson while working in Lancaster, MN. They were married in 1942 and lived in Pembina, ND until 1953 when they moved to McIntosh, MN. Edith passed away in 1975.In 1982 he married Ina Benson.On Friday, July 24, 2009 Kendall Mosser passed away at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN at the age of 96 years.Survivors include his wife Ina Mosser of Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine; two sons, James Mosser of Brooklyn Center, MN and Curtis (Mary Jean) Mosser of Maplewood, MN; one daughter, Sandy (Jim) Berger of Walker, MN; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two step-sons, Richard (Patti) Benson of McIntosh and Raynold (Mary) Benson of Grand Forks, ND; two step-daughters, Kay (Wayne) Strand of Anoka, MN and June Paulson of Blaine, MN.He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Edith.
