He attended school at Win-E-Mac, Fosston, and in Alaska. He served in the U.S. Army for approximately two years. Justin loved working with his hands, especially "turning wrenches" while working on older cars. He loved most animals, particularly "big" dogs and cows. Justin was a great storyteller and would often embellish his stories nearly beyond belief. He was loyal to his friends and would often put their needs ahead of his own. His concept of family was not confined to blood or legal definitions; if he loved or cared for you, you were considered part of his "family."The last five years of his life were spent in the Anchorage, Alaska area, where he worked various jobs, mainly repairing and rebuilding motor vehicles. In recent communications with several people, Justin expressed a desire to return to Minnesota to be with family and friends. He was preceded in death by: his Mother, Anna Reine (Thompson) Abrahamson; Grandparents, Donald and Evelyn Abrahamson, Lyle Thompson and Marilyn Thompson; an Aunt, Kimberly Thompson; and an Uncle, Donald Abrahamson, Jr.He is survived by: his Father, Kevin Abrahamson of Cook; Grandma Barb Thompson of Mentor, MN; Aunts, Chris White of McIntosh, MN, Kelly (Rick) Phillips of Hutchinson, MN, Belinda Austin of Encinitas, CA, and Christi (Eric) Falen of Jerome, ID; Uncles, Dan (Tamara) Thompson of Wood River, IL, Patrick (Cherie) Thompson of Mentor, MN and Brian (Mukkove) Johnson of Palmer, AK; many cousins; and of course, all those other special people in Justin's life too numerous to mention whom he considered "family."Blessed be his memory
