Juanita Stuhaug, age 68 of rural Erskine, MN passed away on Saturday (November 22nd) at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (November 29th) at Grace Lutheran Church in Erskine with the Rev. Timothy Lundeen officiating. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Erskine and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Juanita Marie Lecy Stuhaug was born on November 6, 1946 in Mahnomen, Minnesota to parents Alfred and Elizabeth "Betty" Christianson Lecy. She grew up in Winger and graduated from McIntosh High School in 1964. She then attended Interstate Business College in Moorhead, Minnesota.Juanita was united in marriage to Charles Stuhaug on April 17, 1965. After their marriage, they lived and worked in Bagley, Minnesota for 38 years. During those years, Juanita worked as a legal secretary at Rasmussen Law Office and for the Clearwater County Attorney's Office in Bagley while Chuck was a teacher and coach at Bagley High School. Juanita retired in 2006 due to health concerns.She enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading and sports, especially watching her grandchildren play sports. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Charles, of Erskine, MN; three children, Lisa (Larry) Bellefy of Bagley, Kristina (Darrin) Faldet of Erskine, and Tony (Heidi) Stuhaug of Erskine; 10 grandchildren, Shane, Austin, and Paige Bellefy; Dustin, Devin, and Kinlee Faldet; Peyton, Madison, Kolton, and Clare Stuhaug; and two great grandchildren, Brylee and Ariella.Also surviving is her sisters, Karen Schimanski of Fosston, Avonne Trelstad of Moorhead, MN; brothers, Tim (Karen) Lecy of Erskine and Floyd Lecy of Moorhead, MN; and her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Stuhaug of Erskine. Many nieces and nephews also survive.She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Russ Anderson; three brothers and one sister.
