Joyce Kringle, age 85, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Wednesday, February 10th, at her residence in the Prairie Pines Community in Fosston. Graveside services will be held in the spring. Joyce Esther Kringle was born on May 24, 1935 in Fosston, Minnesota to parents Leonard and Violette (Allen) Kringle. She was baptized and confirmed in Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston. She graduated from Fosston High School in 1953 after which she attended Business College for two years and was employed at the First National Bank in Grand Forks, North Dakota for two years.
Joyce moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and worked at Northwestern National Bank. She moved to California and was employed at a brokerage firm for six years and then returned to Minneapolis and worked at a material handling company in sales for 25 years. After retiring she returned to her hometown of Fosston in 2010 and enjoyed getting together with her group of friends during coffee hour downtown and became active in Hope Lutheran Church as Secretary of the Church Council, quilting, and helping with church dinners. Joyce enjoyed biking and golfing in the summer and downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter.
Joyce passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at her residence in the Prairie Pines Community in Fosston at the age of 85 years.
She is survived by two sisters, Faye Heisler of Peoria, AZ and Brooksie (Kent) Peterman of Vallejo, CA. Eight nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Allen; sister, Lenna; and her nieces, Sandra (Johnson) Sankiewicz and Kim Maass (Johnson)
