Jerry Germain

Jerry St. Germain, age 66, of Fosston, MN passed away on Monday, February 23rd at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, ND. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 2nd at 11:00 AM at the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home in Fosston with Rev. Paul Magelssen officiating. A visitation period will be held for one hour before the memorial service at the funeral home, and interment will be at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Fosston at a later date. Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the arrangements.Gerald was born March 7, 1942 in Fosston, MN to parents Irwin and Hazel (Ostgarden) St. Germain. He attended Fosston High School and lived the majority of his life in Fosston, MN. Jerry joined the Marine Corps in January 1960, serving 4 years, becoming Lance Corporal and earning the Good Conduct medal and Sharpshooter Badge during service.Jerry was married to Julie Roue, and they were blessed with a son Carson. Jerry then married Mary Henry and they were blessed with a son Stephen.Jerry is survived by his two sons, Carson (Heather) McDonald of St. Louis Park, MN and Stephen St. Germain, of Grand Rapids, MN; two brothers, Marvin (Marie) St. Germain of Minneapolis, MN, Glen (Karen) St. Germain, of Long Prairie, MN; two sisters, Gloria (Andy) Jacobson of Aurora, MN and Mary Blevins of Fosston, MN.He was preceded in death by his loving parents.
