Jenny Munter, age 60, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Saturday, July 27th, at Essentia Health Hospital in Fosston. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3rd, at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston with the Rev. Jane Ekholm officiating. Interment will be in Poplar River Cemetery, Fosston. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Jenny Lynne Roragen Munter was born on June 28, 1959 in Fosston, Minnesota to parents Milton and Marilyn (Bakken) Roragen. She was baptized and confirmed at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston. She grew up in Fosston and attended Fosston High School. Jenny was united in marriage to Mark John Munter on August 14, 1976. They had four daughters and spent as much time together as possible as a family. They lived for a time in Sioux City, Iowa before returning to Fosston. She worked at MDV in Fosston for 10 years but did most of her work as an upholsterer. She enjoyed her work and was very good at it and known for her detail. She also was a devoted caregiver for her husband during his long battle with complications of his transplants. Mark passed away on April 10, 2014. Jenny loved art and had a creative mind; she especially enjoyed drawing. She also liked flowers, birds and nature. Most of all she dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed.Survivors include her daughters, Amy (Doug) Maruska of Lengby, MN, Beth Munter of Fosston, MN, and Crystal (Flyn) Bailie of Fosston; grandchildren, Mark Nelson-Maruska, Savannah Munter, Taylor Munter, Coleby Wells, Benjamin Munter, Kaden Maruska, Alexis Bailie, Kensey Maruska, Dawson Bailie, Abigail Snyder, Madison Bailie, and Kiley Maruska. Also surviving is her mother-in-law, Doris Munter of Sioux City, IA; sister, Becky (Jerry) Dahl of Bejou, MN and brothers, Mike Roragen of Bejou, MN and Greg Roragen of Fosston; several nieces and nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark; daughter, Christina; her parents; sister, Tammy Roragen; sister-in-law, Debbie Roragen; and father-in-law, Earl Munter.Honorary Pallbearers: All of Jenny's grandchildren and her nephew, Noah Roragen.
