Jeff Robb

Jeff Robb, age 70, of Lengby, MN, passed away on Friday, July 24th, at Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31st, at Fridhem Lutheran Cemetery, rural Lengby, with the Rev. John Ragan officiating. Military honors will be provided by Spring Lake V.F.W. Post #2751 of Lengby and the National Guard Honors Team. There will be a limited number of chairs available so please feel free to bring your own to the service. Jeffrey Charles Robb was born on January 16, 1950 in Fosston, Minnesota to parents Jack and Joyce (Stokke) Robb. He was baptized and confirmed at Fridhem Lutheran Church in Lengby. He grew up in Lengby and graduated from Fosston High School in 1968. He entered the United States Army in November of 1969 and was based in Germany during the Vietnam War. He received his honorable discharge in September of 1972 and returned home.Jeff was married and had two children from that union, Heather and Aaron. Jeff spent his working years driving truck. He lived in the Twin Cities and Fargo hauling manufactured homes for several years and then for TranSystems out of Grand Forks. While living back in Lengby, he worked for Lenes Sand and Gravel, Wilde Construction and Gordon Construction. He was a member of Fridhem Lutheran Church, and the Spring Lake V.F.W. Post #2759 of Lengby. He enjoyed socializing with his friends and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.Jeff passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Sanford Hospital in Bemidji at the age of 70 years.Survivors include his two children, Heather and Aaron; three grandchildren, Payton, Charisma, and Sam; siblings, Linda Robb, Conni (Marc) Floberg, Jackie (Herb) Hegg, Peggy (Gene) Vig, Fran and Dick Coenen, and Roy Suckow; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob, Lowell, and Loren; and his nephew, Christopher Nyland.
