Jeanette "Schultzie" Schultz, age 66, of Fosston, MN, passed away peacefully on Sunday (September 27th) at her home in Fosston. Visitation services will be held on Thursday, October 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fosston with Father Dave Super presiding. A viewing will be held on Friday, October 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home in Minot, ND. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 3rd at 11:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Berthold, ND with Father Michael Miller presiding, and there will also be reviewal for one hour before the funeral at the church. Interment will be at Rosehill Memorial Park Cemetery in Minot. The Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the services in Fosston, and the Thomas Family Funeral Home of Minot is in charge of the services in Minot and Berthold.Jeanette Amalia Brown was born February 22, 1943 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Minot, North Dakota. Jeanette was the youngest of eleven children born to Harry and Mabel (Pederson) Brown. Jeanette grew up and graduated from high school in Berthold, North Dakota. After high school, she moved to Minot, North Dakota and began working as a C.N.A.On December 27, 1965, Jeanette was united in marriage to Merton Halvor Schultz. Jeanette and Merton started their married life farming outside of Tagus, North Dakota. Eventually the two moved to the Bagley, Minnesota area where together they continued to farm. Jeanette also continued to work as a C.N.A. at First Care Hospital and First Care Home Health & Hospice in Fosston, Minnesota. Jeanette and Merton have two children, Annette Marie Schultz and Melissa Emma Schultz-Geray. Annette works as an R.N. in Bemidji, Minnesota, and Melissa is a jailer-dispatcher for the Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office.On Sunday, September 27, 2009 Jeanette Schultz passed away peacefully at her home in Fosston at the age of 66 years.Jeanette is survived by her daughters, Annette Schultz of Bemidji, MN and Melissa Schultz-Geray (Andrew Geray) of Mahnomen, MN; grandchildren, Lukas and Jenna Geray of Mahnomen; brothers, Ralph Brown, Jack (John) Brown, and Joseph Brown all of Berthold, ND and brother, Darrell Brown of Los Angeles, CA; numerous nieces and nephews; and too many friends to count.Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Merton Schultz; parents, Harry and Mabel Brown; sisters, Mae Brown and Ruth (Brown) Berg; brothers, James Brown, Harold "Bud" Brown, Harry Brown Jr, and Maynard Brown. Jeanette is loved and will be missed by many. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your many acts of kindness.
