Inez Mielke, age 77, of Fosston, MN and formerly of Minnetonka, MN, passed away on Tuesday (June 1st) at First Care Hospital in Fosston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (June 5th) at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston with the Rev. Paul Magelssen officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Cemetery in Faribault, MN on Wednesday (June 9th). Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Friday (June 4th) at the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home in Fosston. There will also be reviewal for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Inez Alice Wolfe was born on December 11, 1932 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Albert and Anna (Burger) Wolfe. She grew up in Minneapolis and attended Minneapolis Roosevelt High School. She was united in marriage to Joseph Lovegreen on November 17, 1950. After their marriage, they lived in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. She cared for her children at home until her employment at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids and the Coon Rapids Clinic. She was later employed in the fleet management department at Minnegasco Company in Minneapolis until her retirement.She married Rodney Mielke on October 19, 2001. They resided in Kilkenny, Minnesota until Rod passed away in 2004. Inez then lived in Otsego, Minnesota and most recently she resided in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Due to health concerns, she moved to Fosston, Minnesota to be close to family. Inez enjoyed volunteering and spending time with her friends. She also loved to bake cookies and give them as gifts. Inez passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at First Care Hospital in Fosston following a short battle with cancer at the age of 77 years, five months and 21 days.Survivors include her son, Mike Lovegreen of New Hope, MN; one daughter, Ann (James) Offerdahl of Fosston; four grandchildren; and her sister, Doris Schnarr of Edina, MN. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph and Rodney; one son, Scot; and brothers and sisters.Pallbearers: Joe Offerdahl, Brandon Rud, Dennis Rud, Derek Rud, Wayne Omundson, and Doug Hoialmen.
