Hulda (Danielson) Lee, age 95, from Arlington, MN and formerly from Fosston, and Park Rapids, MN passed away on Tuesday, September 28th at the Good Samaritan Center in Arlington. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 1st at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington with visitation held for one hour before the funeral at the church. Interment and graveside services will be on Saturday, October 2nd at 3:00 PM at Kingo Lutheran Cemetery in Fosston. The Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the local arrangements.She was born on September 11, 1915 in Fosston, Minnesota to Henry and Millie (Kompelien) Danielson. She was baptized and confirmed at the Norwegian Lutheran Church near Fosston. After 8 years of school, Hulda was hired to keep house for a family in Fosston. Hulda married Morris Lee in Fosston on June 16, 1937. Hulda was a homemaker with a talent for serving others. She enjoyed helping others and continued to do so after she and Morris moved to Park Rapids in 1967. She worked at the Fleet Store, which was managed by her husband, for many years. During that time, she assisted several elderly residents in the area, did volunteer driving and was active in the Park Rapids Senior Citizens Center. She was active in her church, wherever she lived, very active in the women's activities at Kingo Lutheran Church in Fosston, Calvary Lutheran Church in Park Rapids and for the past 8 years, Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington. Hulda was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister and her husband of 72 years, Morris on March 14, 2010. She is survived by her son, Norman Lee of South St. Paul and daughter, Loanne (Larry) Sorenson of Arlington. 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren also survive as well as a step-brother, Arnold (Evelyn) Lucken.
