Howard Sandeen, age 64 from Brooklyn Park, MN passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 29th at his residence in Brooklyn Park. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 11th at 2:00 p.m. at the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home in Fosston, MN with Rev. Paul Magelssen officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour before the memorial service on Wednesday afternoon. Interment of cremains will be at Asphult Cemetery, rural McIntosh, MN and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the arrangements.Howard Monty Sandeen was born on August 28, 1951 in Crookston, MN to parents Lowell and Jean (Halvorson) Sandeen. He attended Oakland Country School, graduated from McIntosh High School in 1969, and went on to attend Bemidji State College.After college, Howard moved to the Twin Cities and worked for many years in the welding industry. For the last several years he was residing in Brooklyn Park, MN.Howard enjoyed motorcycles and motorcycle riding, art work, hockey, golfing, and target shooting.On Friday, April 29, 2016 Howard passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Brooklyn Park at the age of 64 years.He is survived by his brother, Harry Sandeen of rural McIntosh, MN; one uncle, Milo Sandeen; two nieces; one nephew; two great nieces; one great nephew; two first cousins, Darrell Sandeen and Angie Sandeen; two second cousins, Gunnar Sandeen and Norman Halvorson; and numerous third cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Connie McLinn.
