Henrietta Hove, age 89, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Friday (October 22nd) at First Care Nursing Home in Fosston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday (October 26th) at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston with the Rev. Aage Carlsen officiating. Interment will be in Brandsvold Cemetery, rural Fosston. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Monday (October 25th) at the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home in Fosston. There will also be reviewal for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Henrietta Bertha Williams was born on September 16, 1921 in Walkerton, Indiana to parents John and Bertha (Robinson) Williams. She was married to John Rankert on December 25, 1939 in Walkerton and they had two children, Jerry and Brenda. She worked for many years at the Williams family meat packing plant in Walkerton. She moved to Minnesota in 1974. Henrietta was united in marriage to Joe Hove on June 15, 1975. Together they lived in Fosston and Henrietta worked in town as a restaurant cook. In 1985, Henrietta bravely fought breast cancer and won the battle. Hank (as her family called her) enjoyed cooking, travel, dining out, playing cards and being with family and friends.She has resided at First Care Nursing Home in Fosston since December of 2009. Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Joe of Fosston; two children, Jerry (Rogene) Rankert of South Bend, IN, and Brenda Jevning Anderson of South Bend, IN; five grandchildren, Michele Jevning (Larry) Schifsky, Todd Jevning, Brett (Sharon) Rankert, Scott (Mindy) Rankert, and Tim Rankert; eight great grandchildren, Brandy, Conner, Justin, Mikayla, Kendall, Karigan, Abby and Colin; three sisters, Annabelle Osborn of Inman, KS, Maxine Hochstettler of Bremen, IN, and Emily Kollar of South Bend, IN; and three brothers, Roy of Walkerton, IN, Bernard Burdell of South Bend, IN, and George of LaPorte, IN.She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Huldah Ross in 2008.
