Helen Danielson

Helen Danielson, age 101, of Fosston, MN passed away on Monday, May 25th at Essentia Health First Care Living Center in Fosston. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 9th at 2:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Fosston, with Rev. Paul Magelssen officiating. There will be lunch following the service at Hope Lutheran Church.Helen (Nelson) Danielson was born, October 13, 1913, in Eden Township, rural Fosston, MN to Hartvig and Augusta (Wick) Nelson. She attended Willowside Rural School and graduated from Fosston High School in 1932. She was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church, and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church where she was active in Ladies' Aide, circles, and quilting groups. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, and baking. Helen was married to Leslie Danielson on December 11, 1932. Leslie passed away in 1968.On Monday, May 25, 2015 Helen Danielson passed away at Essential Health First Care Living Center at the age of 101 years.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister; two brothers; and a daughter, Janice (Robert) Matthews.Survivors include a son, John; four grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.Blessed be her memory
