Gordon Nesvold

Gordon Nesvold, age 65 from Moorhead and formerly from Fosston, MN passed away on Thursday, October 29th at Sanford Hospital on Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd at 2:30 PM at Kingo Lutheran Church in Fosston with Rev. John Ragan and Rev. Amanda Nesvold officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour before the funeral at the church on Tuesday afternoon. Interment will be at Kingo Lutheran Cemetery in Fosston, and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the arrangements. Messages of condolence may be sent to carlinhoialmen.com. As per Gordon's wishes, no flowers please.Gordon John Nesvold was born October 19, 1950 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Elbert and Lucille (Paulson) Nesvold. He was raised in the Fosston, Minnesota area, where he attended and graduated from Fosston High School. Gordy was baptized in the Lutheran Faith. He lived in Moorhead, Minnesota, and worked in the Fargo/Moorhead area.Gordy passed away on October 29, 2015 in Fargo, North Dakota at the age of 65 years.Gordy is survived by Lori Bonik, Moorhead; one daughter, Brittany (Travis), and one grandson, Kellan, all of Felton, Minnesota; three brothers: Lyle, Fosston; Rodney (Teresa), Maryland; Loren, Fosston; and five sisters: Sue (Dennis) Ehn, North Branch, Minnesota; Karen (Joel) DeWandeler, Moorhead; Marilyn Briggs, Fosston; Joan Nesvold, New York; and Nina Nesvold, Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.He is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Lucille; grandparents, Hans and Mary Nesvold, and Louis and Selma Paulson; and one nephew, Danny Nesvold. He is also preceded in death by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and one great nephew.
