Frederick “Fritz” Schmieg, age 84, of Chaska, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 11th, up north. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7th, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Excelsior, MN. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday (7th) at the church in Excelsior. A reception will follow at Chanhassen American Legion.
