Florence Lohn

Florence Lohn, age 91, from San Jose, CA and formerly from Fosston, MN passed away November 10th, 2008 in San Jose. Memorial services for Florence will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd at 1:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston with Rev. Paul Magelssen officiating. A visitation time will be held for one hour before the memorial service at the church, and interment of cremains will be at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Fosston. The Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the arrangements.Florence Catherine Cormontan Lohn was born on June 30, 1917 in Bemidji, Minnesota. She was the cherished daughter of Evan H. and Alma (Froland) Cormontan. She married David Lohn in 1937. They had two daughters. She passed away on November 10, 2008 in San Jose, California. She was 91 years old.She was preceded in death by both her parents; by her husband, David; by her daughter, Margo; and by her grandson, Daniel. She is survived by her daughter, Susan; seven grandchildren: Scott, Kimberly (Curt), Tenley (Ivo), Barbara (John), Timothy, Paul (Robin) and Amy (Mike); eleven great-grandchildren: Angie, Joey, Cristopher, Jamie, Cody, Logan, Spencer, David, Joshua, Noah and Daniel Mark; four great-great grandchildren: Jordyn, Katie, Peyton and Ashton; cousins Lois and Arlys, God-daughter, (Allen); several nieces and one nephew.
