Florence Jackson, age 82, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Friday (November 2nd) at First Care Hospital in Fosston. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday (November 8th) at the United Methodist Church in Fosston with the Rev. Lois Ball officiating. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Fosston at a later date. Friends may call for one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Online guestbook is available at www.carlinhoialmen.com.Florence Evelyn Leeseberg was born on June 30, 1925 in Richville, Ottertail County, Minnesota to parents Ernest and Edith (LaBarge) Leeseberg. Florence grew up in the Henning, Minnesota area and attended school there. She was the first 9th grader to ever be a varsity cheerleader in Henning. Florence also tap danced and won many honors for that in school. She was united in marriage to George Frank Jackson on September 6, 1942 in Henning. They moved to Lockhart and operated a café there for two years before moving to the Lengby area and finally to Fosston in 1955. Florence was a wife and mother and loved to cook, garden, quilt, raise orchids and have all her kids home. Florence enjoyed life and laughter. She was a housewife and worked at the Fosston Bowling Alley and Johnson Clothing for a few years.Florence was a member of the United Methodist Church of Fosston and active with the United Methodist Women.Florence passed away on Friday, November 2, 2007 at First Care Hospital in Fosston at the age of 82 years, four months and three days.She is survived by six children:Bruce (Diane) Jackson of Bagley, MNSharon (Lloyd) Wagner of Middle River, MNMarleen (Darrel) Quick of Shevlin, MNJay (Barb) Jackson of Warroad, MNTamara (Curtis) Parkin of Crookston, MNRoss (Ann) Jackson of Anchorage, AK7 grandchildren, Patty, Shawn, Darren, Michelle, Heather, Pam and Rebecca.8 step-grandchildren, Eric, Rachael, Michael, Samantha, Adam, Mitch, Jason and Rebecca.15 great grandchildren5 step-great grandchildrenOne brother, Lawrence Leeseberg of Alexandria, MN and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Florence was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1997; her parents; and siblings, Herbert Leeseberg, Hazel Bohne, Pearl Schultz, Harley Leeseberg, Floyd Leeseberg and Blanche Roberts.Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Florence�s grandchildren
