Finley Otto Baier, age 5, of Appleton, WI, passed away on Sunday, July 19th, as the result of an accident. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 24th, in Melrose, Minnesota. Finley Otto Baier was born on August 5, 2014 at 8:14 p.m. in Appleton, Wisconsin to parents Taylor Baier and Faith Moening. He lived in Appleton with his parents and his sister, Penelope Reese Baier "Sissy". Finley was a very active little boy who enjoyed doing many things, such as dirt biking, shopping for toys, baking muffins and cakes with his mom, playing video games with his dad, riding his bike, fishing, listening to music, and spending time at his great grandpa and grandma's farm in Melrose, Minnesota. His love for Nike shoes rivaled his mother's shoe addiction.Finley just loved to be around people. He brought fun and the excitement of a little boy to whoever he was with. He was dearly loved and will be dearly missed. Finley passed away while with his family doing something he loved, dirt biking, on Sunday, July 19, 2020.Survivors include his loving parents, Taylor Baier and Faith Moening of Appleton, WI; sister, Penelope "Sissy"; grandparents, Darren Moening "Da" of New London, MN, Randy and Nora Baier "Grammy Nory" and DeAnne and Scott Anderson "Grammy and Fun Pa", all of Appleton, WI; great grandparents, Ron and Joelle Moening of Melrose, MN, Darlene Heller of Appleton, WI, Tom and Mary Kay Lutzow of Appleton, WI, and Dan and Edith Praska of Casa Grande, AZ.Also surviving are uncles, Tyler and Taite Baier of Appleton, WI and "the guys"; and his extended family, Cherokee and Jesse Anderson and their children, Bailey, Rayna, Trevor and Gracie; aunts, uncles and cousins; and his pet frog, Julia (pronounced hoolia).He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Earl Baier; and great great grandparents, Leo and Mary Moening and Otto and Christine Wiener.
