Eunice Fish

Eunice "Tootsie" Fish, age 88, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Tuesday (December 29th) at First Care Hospital in Fosston. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (January 2nd) at the United Methodist Church in Fosston with the Rev. Sarah Lawton officiating. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Fosston, at a later date. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Friday (January 1st) at the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home in Fosston. There will also be reviewal for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the United Methodist Church of Fosston.Eunice D. Hole was born on November 18, 1921 in Erskine, Minnesota to parents C.P. and Edna Hole. She grew up in Erskine and graduated from Erskine High School. She was united in marriage to Herbert Fish on May 30, 1942 at the United Methodist Church parsonage in Fosston. Tootsie has lived in Fosston her entire adult life. Herb passed away on May 28, 1968. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Fosston. She will be dearly missed by her family, her church family and her many friends.Tootsie passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at First Care Hospital in Fosston at the age of 88 years.Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn Raye Smith and her husband, Francis "Frank", of Bemidji, MN; granddaughter, Kimberlie Dawn Sorenson and her husband, Oscar, of Las Vegas, NV; grandson, John Herbert Smith and his wife, Jody, of Ogilvie, MN; and two great granddaughters, Adrianna Danielson and Melissa Raye Smith.She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and nine siblings.
