Don Bolme, age 83 of Fosston, MN passed away on Wednesday, August 5th at Essentia Health First Care Living Center in Fosston. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10th, at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston with Pastor Paul Magelssen officiating. Interment will be in Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Fosston. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Sunday, August 9th at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston, and will continue for one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Monday. He graduated from NW Agriculture Center in Crookston, MN and started farming at age 17 years. Don married Marge Disrud on June 19, 1954. They raised their family of five children on their farm in rural Gully. They have fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. They were members of Zion Lutheran Church for 27 years, and have been members at Hope Lutheran Church since 1981.Don served on the Cenex Board, the Elevator Board, and the Gully Credit Union Board, all in Gully.Donald Bolme passed away August 5, 2015 of cancer at Essentia Health First Care Living Center in Fosston, at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his loving wife Marge; children LaRae (Harold) Gustafson, Reynolds ND, Daniel (Lynn) Bolme, Lakeville MN, Karyn Bolme, Fosston MN, David (Paula) Bolme, St. Michael MN, and Jodell Stangler (Jesse Penrose), Rochester MN; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters LaVerne (Otto) Schmidt; Beverly (Harold) Bale; Sharon (Entrip) Syverson and sister-in-law Beverly Bolme.He was preceded in death by his parents and brother DeWayne and sister Kathleen Bolme. Don will always be remembered by his kind spirit and easy going attitude. His motto was always "If something doesn't go right today, it can always be fixed tomorrow!"Blessed be his memory
