Diana Carlson

Diana Carlson, age 58, of McIntosh, MN, passed away on Monday (May 21st) at the McIntosh Manor Nursing Home in McIntosh. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (May 26th) at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in McIntosh with the Rev. Aage Carlsen officiating. Interment will be in Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery, McIntosh. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home, serving McIntosh. She grew up in McIntosh and graduated from McIntosh High School in 1967. While she was a student in high school, Diana participated in band and cheerleading. During her working years, Diana was employed at 3M in Minneapolis, the Highlander Café in McIntosh, McIntosh Manor Nursing Home, and for many years at Holen's and Spud's Market in McIntosh.She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in McIntosh. She was a Life Member of the McIntosh V.F.W. Auxiliary, serving as its president for one term. She enjoyed sewing and knitting, reading and jigsaw puzzles.Diana passed away on Monday, May 21, 2007 at the McIntosh Manor Nursing Home at the age of 58 years, one month and 25 days.Survivors include her father, Hilmer Carlson of McIntosh; and one brother, Dan Carlson of McIntosh and Bemidji, MN. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.She was preceded in death by her mother, Violet; maternal grandparents, Ole and Sarah Engen of Clearbrook and paternal grandparents, Rolf and Marie Carlson of Winger.
