DeEtte "Dee" (Barlund) Tinkler, age 39, of Fosston, MN and Fargo/Moorhead, passed away on Friday (July 16th) at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, ND due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Ulen, MN. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (July 24th) at the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home in Fosston with the Rev. Timothy Lundeen officiating. Interment will be in Union Lake Free Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fertile, MN. Family will greet friends from noon until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.DeEtte Kay Barlund was born on February 22, 1971 in Crookston, Minnesota to parents Neil and Kathryn "Kittie" (Johnson) Barlund Stine. She was baptized at Union Lake Free Lutheran Church in 1971. She grew up in Fertile with her dad and grandma Mary. She graduated from Newfolden, Minnesota school while living with her auntie Joy (Deland) Elseth. It was there that she met and married Randy Audette and to this union a daughter, Brandie, was born. She later moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota where she met and married Sean Tinkler. To this union, three children were born, Hanna, Nathan and Nikki. DeEtte worked at the Dairy Queen in Fosston and McDonald's in Fargo. Being a server was the highlight of her life. Her children and her father meant the world to her. DeEtte was very voicestress but she also had a very giving heart.Survivors include her children, Brandie Audette, Hanna, Nathan, and Nikki Tinkler and stepdaughter, Kayley Tinkler, all at home with Sean Tinkler in Grand Forks, ND. Also surviving is Randy (Michelle) Audette of Thief River Falls, MN; her mother, Kittie (Bob) Stine of Trail, MN; father, Neil Barlund of Fertile, MN; grandmother, Bernice Stine of Crookston, MN; sister, Dawn (Steve) Thorson of Leonard, MN; brothers, Tracey (Angie) Stine of Iron River, MI, Trapper Stine of Trail, MN, and Dallas Stine of Trail, MN; special long-time friend, Mike Johnson of Mentor, MN; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mary Barlund and Beverly Johnson.
