Celina Paulson, age 90, of McIntosh and formerly from Fosston, MN passed away on Tuesday, March 10th at First Care Nursing Home in Fosston. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16th at 11:00 AM at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston with Rev. Paul Magelssen officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home in Fosston, and there will also be reviewal for one hour before the funeral at the church. Interment will be at Poplar River Cemetery, rural Fosston and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the arrangements. She came to Minnesota at the age of 11 and stayed with her sister Velda. Celina was baptized in Daleview and confirmed at Union Lake Church and attended Union Lake School, rural Erskine, MN. She worked in Fargo and Grand Forks, ND.She was married to Harold Paulson on June 9, 1938. Celina lived at Erskine until 1980 when she moved to Fosston, MN where she worked various jobs.In 2004, Celina moved to the Poplar Meadows Apartments in McIntosh, MN. There she enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo, and watching movies with her neighbors. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.On Tuesday, March 10, 2009 Celina Paulson passed away at First Care Nursing Home in Fosston at the age of 90 years.Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Larson of Fosston and Bonita (David) Salveson of Erskine; six grandchildren, Tami (Earl) Skelly, Brian (Melinda) Larson, Darin (Cyndi) Larson, Wayne (Johanna) Larson, Jill (Gary) Sonstelie and Jennifer (Rick) Besser; 23 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; as well as nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; one great granddaughter, Amanda Skelly; son-in-law, David Larson; and eleven siblings, Elva, Thelma, Harry, Arthur, Delmar, Thora, Lora, Wilber, Clarence, Alfred and Velda.
