Bradley Ness

Bradley Ness, age 57, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Tuesday, February 21^st, at Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2^nd, at the Carlin Funeral Home in Fosston with the Rev. Rene Mehlberg officiating. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Carlin Family Funeral Service of Fosston. Bradley Jon Ness was born on May 3, 1965, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Berth and Sylvia (Steinbrenner) Ness. He grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona where he graduated from Saguaro High School in 1983. Following high school, he worked in construction and then learned the meat cutting trade. Brad subsequently worked as a meat cutter in grocery stores in Arizona and Minnesota.

Brad and Bambi Barker were married in Mesa, Arizona in 1986. To this union, two daughters were born, Kira and Miranda. They moved to Fosston in 2001. While in Fosston, Brad worked at a local grocery store and, later, earned his boilers license and worked at the Polk County Incinerator.  He then went back to his passion of cutting meat. 

Brad was a loving father and grandfather who always put family first. He was also very meticulous and took pride in keeping his yard and property perfect. Brad was a sentimental and supportive person and would gladly lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his two daughters, Kira Ness of McIntosh, MN and Miranda (Allan) Jesme of Thief River Falls, MN; two grandsons, Liam and Theo; his mother, Sylvia Priest, of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Wayne (Barb) Ness of Mesa, AZ; two sisters, Julie (Gregg) Cornille of Frisco, TX, and Krista (Alejandro) Sevilla of St. George, UT. Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Berth Ness.
