Billy Erno, age 58, of rural Fosston, MN, and formerly of Park Rapids, MN, passed away on Sunday, May 17th, at his home. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30th, at Hope Lutheran Church in Fosston with the Rev. Paul Magelssen officiating. Interment will be held at a later date near Walker, MN. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Billy Jo Erno was born on March 24, 1957 in Park Rapids, Minnesota to parents Harold and Elzora "Ellie" Carter Erno. He grew up in the Walker, Minnesota, lived for several years in the Park Rapids area and was currently living near Fosston. Throughout his life, Billy had various jobs including farm work, truck driving and in North Dakota as a mill right. He has also done carpentry work in the area which was something he really enjoyed. Billy passed away unexpectedly at his home near Fosston on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the age of 58 years.Survivors include his mother, Ellie Rose and his step father, Charles Rose of Fosston; two sons, Sonny (Bonnie) of South Dakota and Dusty (Annetta) who is in the U.S. Navy; daughter, Nicci Carter of Newport, Arkansas; and three grandchildren, Levi Erno and Dallian and Dayton Carter. Also surviving are three brothers, Roy Lee Erno of Iowa, Tom D. Erno of Akeley, MN, and Harold Ray Erno of Red Lake Falls, MN.He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Robert and James Erno.
