Betty Worshek, age 86, from Fosston, MN passed away on Saturday, November 3rd at Essentia Health Living Center in Fosston. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fosston with Father Dave Super presiding. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 6th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. All services are at the church. Interment of cremains will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Fosston, and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston is in charge of the arrangements. Messages of condolence may be sent at carlinhoialmen.com.Beatrice "Betty" Mary Milleon was born July 17, 1926 in Waverly, MN the daughter of Alex and Jessie (Johnson) Milleon. Betty graduated in 1944 from North High in Minneapolis, MN.Betty worked in her father's café and then was a switch board operator. Betty married George Worshek on May 15, 1948 and moved to Jackson, MN where she worked and raised seven children. Betty moved to Minneapolis in 1977 where she worked for Sperry Univac and Northwestern Bell/U S West for 10 years retiring in 1991.Her family meant everything to her. In her retirement years she enjoyed being the traveling Grandma going from one family to the next, always having something baked when they came home. Anyone that knew her, knew her famous line, "are you hungry, can I get you anything?"On Saturday, November 3, 2012 Betty passed away at Essentia Health Living Center in Fosston, MN at the age of 86 years.Betty is survived by her children, Barb (Erv) Wickham of Fosston, MN, Jim (Connie) Worshek of Prior Lake, MN, Don Worshek of Parker, AZ, Bob Worshek of Maiden Rock, WI, Nancy (Lonnie) Tangen of Robbinsdale, MN, Mark Worshek of Fosston, MN, and Brad Worshek of LeSueur, MN; grandchildren, Tamie (Todd) Rue, Matt (Chantel) Wickham, Travis (Jennifer) Worshek, Mackenzie (Matt) Bolf, Ashley Worshek, Shannon (Adam) Sauer, Bobby Jo Worshek, Alexis (Jason) Campbell, Brandon (Nora) Meyers, Jesse Worshek, Mercedes and Dakota Roehler; great grandchildren, Brook (David) Burggraf, Tia and Jake Wickham, Maya and Emma Worshek, Danika and Vincent Bolf, Ashlee and Griffin Hausmann, Tyson Sauer, Aiden Worshek, Elias and Liam Campbell, and Ryder and Cole Meyers; and sister-in-law, Verna "Bunny" Milleon.She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Stan and Irene Milleon, Alvin and Audrey Milleon, and Don Milleon.
