Arnold "Arne" Anderson, Jr., age 50, of Fosston, MN, passed away on Saturday (December 1st) at Midway Care Center in Fosston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (December 8th) at Kingo Lutheran Church in Fosston with the Rev. John Dalen officiating. Interment will be in Kingo Lutheran Cemetery, Fosston. Friends may call for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. He was baptized and confirmed at Kingo Lutheran Church in Fosston and attended Fosston High School. Upon graduation he attended Bemidji State University for five years which thereafter he received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. After graduation at Bemidji State University Arnold "Arne" went on to work in Alexandria at the State Hospital. From Alexandria he returned to his hometown and began his employment at New Flyer of America in Crookston, Minnesota as a warehouse worker up until his recent decline in health.Arnold "Arne" enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, listening to classical music, and debating current political issues. He was very kind, compassionate, and willing to lend a hand where needed. Arnold "Arne" passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 1, 2007 while rehabilitating at Midway Care Center from a recent surgery in Fargo, North Dakota.He is survived by his mother, Shirley Anderson of Fosston, one brother, Scott Anderson of Fosston, three sisters, Sheryl (Ron) Anderson of Lengby, MN, Joyce (James) Anderson of Rosemount, MN, Judy Newton of Hopkinsville, KY, and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father Arnold Anderson, brother, Wayne Tollefson, and nephew, Michael Newton.
