May 16, 1939 — February 8, 2017

Ann Salverson Lorenzen, age 77, of Erskine, MN, passed away on Wednesday, February 8th, at her home. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18th, at Gosen Lutheran Church, rural Winger, with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Interment will be in First English Lutheran Cemetery, rural Mentor at a later date. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Ann Marie Salverson was born on May 16, 1939 in Bygland Township, Polk County, Minnesota to parents Norman and Emma Anderson Salverson. She grew up in Bygland Township and near Erskine and attended school at Erskine High School.She was married to Arnold Qualley and they had four children, Gerald, David, Cindy and Randy. Ann married Erwin Rude in 1963 and to this union, three children were born, Steven, Terri and Wade. Ann worked in Grafton, North Dakota at the State Hospital for several years and then as a personal care aide for a company based in Fargo. She also cared for people in private home care for several years. After her retirement, she moved from Grand Forks to East Grand Forks and eventually settled at her mother's home farm near Erskine. She has resided there for the past nine years.Ann liked to crochet and garden. Most of all, she loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart. She is survived by her children, David (Kristie), Cindy Driscoll, Randy (Tammie), Steven (Sally), Terri Burslie, and Wade; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; two brothers, Allen (Diane) Salverson, Nordean Salverson; and sisters, Evelyn (Harold) Osland, Tressa (Gary) Knoll, Mary Baumgard, Linda Salverson, and Mae Tice. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.She was preceded in death by her husbands; son, Gerald; son-in-law, Randy; brother-in-law, Ron Baumgard; sister-in-law, Cindy Salverson; sisters, Irene and Janet; and brothers, Edward, Orville, and Sherman.
