Alison Reierson

Alison (Schmidtgall) Reierson, age 33, of Winger, MN and formerly of Thief River Falls, MN, died on Tuesday, October 15th, as a result of an automobile accident near Gentilly, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21st, at Bethel Assembly Church in Fosston with Pastor Seth Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Arrangements are with Carlin Family Funeral Service of Fosston and messages of condolence may be sent at www.carlinfuneral.com.Alison Rose Schmidtgall was born on March 12, 1986 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Kirby and Elizabeth (Hanson) Schmidtgall. She grew up in Thief River Falls and McIntosh and attended school in Thief River Falls, Win-E-Mac, and Fosston. She then attended Northland College where she pursued at degree in business management. Since that time, Alison has lived in several places in Pennington and Polk County and was currently living in Winger. Alison enjoyed art and music. She dearly loved her three children, Ashton, Eva, and Ella, and her niece, Meika and nephew, Trey.Survivors include her three children, Ashton, Eva, and Ella; her mother, Elizabeth Cathers of Fosston; father, Kirby Schmidtgall of Bismarck, ND; two brothers, Travis Schmidtgall of Thief River Falls, and James Hanson of Thief River Falls; grandmothers, Delilah Schmidtgall of Thief River Falls and Grace Hanson of Fosston; one niece, Meika Schmidtgall and one nephew, Trey Schmidtgall. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Clayton Schmidtgall and Alvin Hanson; two aunts, Julie McMahon and Gay Godwin; and uncle, Andy Godwin.
